NetSuite WMS Configuration with Print Functionality
One of our clients, a leading Malaysian Manufacturing, Trading, Plantation and Logistic Service Provider Group, specializing in the Vegetable Oils and Fats Industry, Road & Sea Transport of Goods, Containers Haulage & Oils, Freight Forwarding & Total Logistics Solutions provider, in addition to the Travel & Tour operation.
Requirement
Our client required us to print the barcode, item label, and pallet label from the supply chain management (CM) mobile app. Using the barcode, they have to receive a transfer order, which they have to fulfil through scanning the barcode. While scanning the barcode, the item name, LOT number, and all the items in the pallet have to be scanned.
Solution
In order to achieve the goal, our developers generated a PDF inside the barcode. They have customized the print option from “SCM mobile label”. When clicking this button, the pallet label gets printed in the NetSuite’s print node and it is integrated with the software in NetSuite.
SCM has two apps. Using WMS app has fulfilled print functionality, after that using “pack station” app we will add items in the pallet and using WMS app we can ship the items through scanning the pallet label.
Result
Our consultants attained the requirement successfully through printing the barcode, item number and pallet label from the mobile app.
