One of our Europe based clients once requested us to integrate NetSuite with a third party platform “All-In-View”, providing detection and design technology. Our client’s major business was the sales and service of solar panels. Each day they receive several leads and enquiries. However converting them into a possible prospect or potential customer requires crucial manual effort.
Converting a lead into a potential customer is the important turning point of business success. The sales person constantly follows up each lead so that the business can catch a potential customer. This process consumes more time and effort of the sales persons. Our client wanted us to integrate NetSuite with “All-In-View” and automate this process. Here, we are giving a detailed review of the requirements of our client and how the expert hands of Jobin and Jismi IT services helped our client in automating their operations.
Requirement
Our European client runs a business of solar panels implementations. With the help of Jobin & Jismi, they developed a sales web application a long time ago to deal with their sales. When our client receives a lead and its address, the sales representatives manually update these details “All-In-View” to access the exact location given in the address.
“All-In-View” is a platform providing detection and design technology tools for the companies in the PV industry. This platform locates the actual place mentioned in the address, detects the exact building and designs the suitable layout of solar panels considering the position of the sun, inclination of the roof, shading and yield analysis, and geographical peculiarities.
Initially, the sales representative had to update the address to a third party platform “All-In-View” and then the platform locates the address. By analysing the geographical peculiarity “All-In-View” creates the suitable panel designs for the building mentioned in the address. After receiving this design he or she uses a sales web app, an application developed for sales representatives for lead management with NetSuite as the backend designed by Jobin & Jismi for updation. Then they approach the lead and ask for suggestions. If the lead demands for further alterations, they approach All-In-View Platform again and do all the process. This manual process in turn took more time.
They realized the importance of integrating NetSuite with All-In-View in automating the process as it can save more time and effort.
Our client asked us to keep Netsuite as the back engine and the sales web app in the front end. They wanted to automate the major function performed manually by the salesperson and fasten the process.
Solution
Experts of Jobin & Jismi decided to integrate NetSuite with All-In-View. This will replace the effort taken by the sales representative in sending lead details to All-In-View. Once a sales representative updates the address and details of the client in the sales web app, NetSuite itself will send the address of the prospects to “All-In-View”.
After detecting the location with the help of GPS and analyzing the possibilities All-In-View will send back the suitable layout image to NetSuite in JSON format. Also, the All-In-View integration made the system more flexible. If the prospect requests any changes to the laying plan designs, the sales representative can make instant changes by accessing or navigating All-In-View from the sales web app itself. All-In-View will update the changes within no time and it is automated to NetSuite and Sales Web apps instantly. The customer also can see the new design within no time. For instance, the prospect wants to reduce the panel number which he/she demanded in the initial stages and asking to change the layout, the sales representative can easily make edits.
The changes and edits in All-In-View will get reflected in NetSuite as well. As a result, laying plans and designs are generated in All-In-View by filling the following details in the sales web app by the sales representatives.
1. House Number
2. Street Number
3. Postcode
The targeted prospect can easily access the new plan that has been prepared as per their demand. These quick changes and flexibility of services from the sales representatives can easily pursue the prospects to enter into a sale.
“All-In-View” correspondingly generates a laying plan for the building, along with a unique ID by analyzing the latitude and longitude of the location, size as well as the building shape.
Simultaneously additional designs can also be created within a button click attached to the system. And With other advanced options including clone laying plan and syncing laying plan option, the sales representative can duplicate the design and sync the suggested edits in NetSuite as well as in All-In-View simultaneously.
Results
Lead conversion and follow-up became easier than ever. Integrating with NetSuite, enhanced the efficiency of the process with complete accuracy. Sales representatives could easily track the lead and assist them according to their demand during the face to face discussion.
